Our story begins with Trooper Daniel “Keith” Rebman. In 2017, Trooper Rebman’s parents provided him his inheritance by purchasing stump removal equipment to use as a side job for income supplement. Only three months later, on October 24, 2017, the unthinkable happened—Trooper Rebman was killed while on duty when a truck hit his patrol car.
Instead of returning the equipment, Trooper Rebman’s parents wanted it to continue its initial purpose—providing for Trooper Rebman’s family. As a result, Mike’s Stumpgrinding was born.
Mike Beckett, Trooper Rebman’s father-in-law, began Mike’s Stumpgriding and shares a portion of all profits with Trooper Rebman’s family to supplement their needs, providing music lessons for the girls, extra-curricular activities, and other needs.
Trooper Rebman’s legacy is one of care, concern, and love of others. Our desire is to continue that legacy.
